Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Datascope Co., Ltd. ("Datascope", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through this website. We operate in compliance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

1. Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to submit it through one of our forms:

  • Partnership inquiry form: name, organization, email, area of interest, and the content of your message.
  • Career subscribe form: email address and (optionally) area of interest.
  • Career application form: name, email, phone, position, cover note, and a CV file (PDF, DOC, or DOCX).
  • Server-side technical data: a salted hash of your IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention), and standard web-server access logs that may be retained by our hosting provider.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website. A session cookie is used solely to issue an anti-CSRF token to forms.

2. Purpose Of Processing

  • Inquiries: to respond to commercial, regulatory, and distribution partnership inquiries.
  • Subscribers: to notify you when an opening matching your area of interest is posted.
  • Applications: to evaluate your candidacy for an open or future role at Datascope.
  • Abuse prevention: to detect and limit automated submissions and protect form integrity.

3. Legal Basis

For career applications and subscriber sign-ups, we rely on your explicit consent (the PDPA-consent checkbox on the form). For partnership inquiries, we rely on legitimate interest in responding to your business outreach. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6).

4. Retention

  • CVs & applications: retained for up to 12 months from receipt, then deleted unless we are actively considering you for a role.
  • Career list subscriptions: retained until you ask to be removed or 24 months from your last interaction with us, whichever is sooner.
  • Partnership inquiries: retained for up to 36 months for business records.
  • Server-side logs: rotated by our hosting provider on their standard schedule (typically 30–90 days).

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with marketing third parties. Personal data submitted through this website is accessible only to authorised Datascope staff who need it to perform the purpose for which it was collected. We may share data with regulators or law-enforcement if required by Thai law.

6. Your Rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to retention obligations).
  • Withdraw consent to processing where consent is the legal basis.
  • Object to processing or lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.

To exercise any of these rights, email datascope@gmail.com with a brief description of your request. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

CV files are stored outside the public document root where possible, with hashed filenames and restricted file permissions. Form submissions use HTTPS in production, anti-CSRF tokens, server-side validation, and per-IP rate limiting. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive information through the website.
